Our Services
The Midwifery Centre was established in 2021 by Midwife, Tanya Hodgkinson.
It was created to offer women and their families an alternative to hospital based maternity care. The Midwifery Centre is a home visiting continuity of care service that provides Antenatal Shared Care and Private Postnatal Services to Geelong, Surf Coast and Bellarine Peninsula.

We offer a range of additional services including TENS machine hire, IV Iron Infusion and IV hydration (for Hyperemesis Gravidarum). We also stock Essential Oils, Affirmation Cards, Colostrum Expressing Kits, Bath Soaks, Breastfeeding and Pumping Supplies, as well as a range of birth and postnatal essentials.

Comprehensive Service
As Endorsed Private Practicing Midwives, we have the ability to order Ultrasounds, Blood tests, and a range of screening tests. We can also prescribe basic medications for pregnancy related issues.

With our ongoing commitment and reputation in the industry, we can recommend other health professionals in adjoining services such as Lactation Consultants, Women's Health Physio's, Childbirth Educators (Hypnobirth, CalmBirth, She Births), Pregnancy and Remedial Massage, Chiropractors, Nutritionists, Family/Women's Health GP's and much more.
